You are correct ZQ, I should have mentioned the food. Food is typically mentioned as a reason to travel. I was trying to think of other reasons. At the same time, the hawker centre is an amazing food adventure!

Thanks for the insight and opinion on population. I hope that you are correct and Singapore is able to continue with a healthy population and not become overgrown. I am sure Singapore will be a treasure to visit for years to come!

How could you have left out food – Singapore as a food mecca! haha.. the hawker centre with their huge variety of food from different countries.

I have to disagree with you on this though – “The population is due to increase rapidly over the next several years.” Even with the Baby Bonuses and extended maternity leave promised by the Government, the standard of living in Singapore is still too high to deter huge families.

Jason you are completely correct. Eating food from the Hawker’s is a delicious experience. We could re-write the article to include a sixth reason to visit Singapore.

Uhhh I think you forgot to mention the Hawker centers in Singapore…awesome food at ridiculously low prices.
