@Natalie - Ehi!! Sure I will be available, but only if it is a weekend (for example the 17-18-19th Oct).
Me and a couple of friends will be glad to meet you for a picnic (if the weather is nice) or a hot chocolate in the city center! Coffee isn't really something typical from Verona, anyway in the city center there are a lot of cafè and bars too :)
Oh, and be prepared to see NO STARBUCKS at all in Italy. We haven't starbucks and we will never have them. I certainly hope so :)
Let me know when and where are you coming to Verona, my email is freakachu @ email.it (without the spaces).

Let me know, bye!

Awesome Paul!

Feel free to send them an email and see if they'd want to hang out. I know Justin would love to have an authentic Irish Guinness with some of your friends.

Only tomorrow (Thur) and Friday remain. Woah!

But for Gillian and others planning for their own distant departure; it goes by fast. Before you know it you will be days from leaving.

Thanks for the advice on canker sores, I will have to limit my kiwi consumption. Oh, but green is my favorite color!

And Francesco, thank you for the link to "Ostello Villa Francescatti". It looks absolutely beautiful.

At this point it looks like a nice family in Padova is welcoming us into their home. However, I would love to stop by you in Verona! I am interested to try the coffee. You see Starbucks Coffee, where I have worked as a barista serves a type of coffee called Verona. It pairs well with chocolate.

I am interested in a cup of Verona's coffee, some chocolate, and maybe even a picnic lunch together. Let me know if you will be available to hang out with us!

Addio per ora!

If you decide to stop in Verona (awsome city, I'm from there) instead of Padova (which is just 75 km east on a direct train) you could end up in one of the best italian hostels, located near Piazza Isolo. It's called "Ostello Villa Francescatti", and it's located in an old Renaissance bulding. It's obviously very cheap and near to all the major city attractions.

You could look up some infos here:

Dude. Your trip will be totally awesome! I have to say that New Zealand has amazing ice cream. So yummy! Unfortunately, they also really love their meat, in all forms - perhaps a carry over from the days of colonial rule. Good luck with that!
Also, if you eat too much kiwi fruit, you get canker sores. :)
Cheers!

Sounds like it's coming together. Friends went to NZ earlier this year - they also fell in love with it. Their pics, and stories, were amazing. Can't wait to read about it here!
