“Indian grocery store vanishes”

Posted on 22 August 2008 by Natalie

Unfortunately, not even a month after posting about “Joy and Telegraph” and all the cross-cultural stores located here, one of them closed.

:-( Sadly, the Indian Grocery store, Suraj is now closed.  The space is available to lease.  Who knows what country will be move in next?  Maybe a Vegetarian place?

PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL INTERNATIONAL FOOD STORES!!!

We don’t want them to all vanish and become the CVS on the corner.

I have been looking over you blog lately. If you find yourself in the area where I am traveling contact me, it would be nice to visit.

I will be in the area of the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe for at least the next year.

We are planning on traveling east from Italy. Towards Turkey, through the middle east and onto Asia.

Who knows? Maybe Justin and I might end up in the same country as you?

It’s great to know that you are currently doing long term backpacking and things have been working out well.
